Sierra Flores is a native Houstonian, attorney, and dedicated advocate for children and families. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Sociology from the University of Houston before receiving her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Her education, combined with her courtroom experience and work directly with families, has shaped an approach to the law that is both strategic and deeply personal.

Before founding Flores Law & Advocacy, PLLC, Sierra served as an Assistant District Attorney, where she handled a wide range of matters and gained valuable courtroom and case-management experience. Her work included serving as a juvenile prosecutor, handling protective order proceedings, advising law enforcement, and advocating in cases involving children, families, and vulnerable individuals. She also prosecuted adult misdemeanor cases, giving her experience across both the juvenile and adult criminal justice systems. That experience taught her how to evaluate complex situations, communicate clearly under pressure, and advocate zealously while never losing sight of the people whose lives are affected by the legal system.

Sierra founded Flores Law & Advocacy with a particular passion for helping children and families navigate systems that can often feel intimidating or overwhelming. Whether advocating for a child’s educational rights, representing a young person facing the juvenile justice system, or helping a family plan for its future, Sierra believes clients deserve an attorney who listens, explains their options plainly, prepares thoroughly, and is willing to stand up for them when it matters.

Sierra understands how difficult it can be to balance work, family responsibilities, school meetings, and court obligations. ARD meetings can take hours and from a parent’s workday, and court appearances often require even more time away from a job and family. Seeking legal guidance should not create another scheduling burden.

It is important to Sierra that families in different circumstances have a meaningful opportunity to obtain the help they need. That is why Flores Law & Advocacy offers limited after-hours consultations for individuals who cannot meet during traditional business hours. Sierra’s goal is to provide thoughtful, practical legal services that recognize the realities families face—not add to them.
